HAT PRODUCTION MANAGER
• Managing and communicating daily with all domestic and overseas factories and in-house sewers to ensure timely delivery and quality product
• Communicating and negotiating with suppliers to ensure the most cost-efficient prices and timely delivery of supplies and materials
Requirements:
• Must be extremely organized and able to mutli-task
• 1-2 yrs hat production experience with felt/straw hats and cut-and-sew hats a major plus.
• Working technical understanding and knowledge of hat patterns a major plus.
• Experience working with cut & sew, knit hats, and blocked hats (felts & straw) a major plus
• Production experience with hand-crafted high-end product a major plus
• Both domestic and overseas production experience a major plus
• Must have experience sourcing/costing
• Must have Microsoft Excel experience
• Quickbooks experience is a major plus
• Foreign language skills including Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, and Spanish fluency a major plus
